This is a rare work of Ovanes as he rarely paints rainbows. Of this genre this may be his finest work as it depicts a view down the coast of the Big Island. You can view the flowers and the ocean waves breaking as you view the translucent rainbow in the distance. This painting is truely a masterpiece.
