Ovanes did this painting in a trip up the California Coast somewhere near Santa Barbara. This has amazing detail for one of Ovanes' smaller wroks as he went back his his studio after starting it on location to put extra time and details into the work. He called it a little masterpiece as the path leads the eye through the flowers, into thw trees and down towards the ocean,
