Our Curator's Notes

 This is a signature smaller work for Ovanes and was rendered on a trip to the Big Island in 2023. The mood is instantly set with the bright flowers in the foreground leading to the deep blue of the pacific Ocean in the distance. painted this on the Big Island as i depicts a cottage overlooking the blue Pacific ocean. The cottage surrounded by local trees, including the bogenvillia plants. In the distance the  clouds mix with the sun to cast light and shadows upon the land in the distance.
